Recommendation for fixing a damage model - AMSUpdated 10 months ago
Here's a recommendation for fixing a broken model using superglue.
1. Scrape off the paint from the contact points where the glue will bond.
2. Do a dry fit to ensure the parts join together with minimal seam and there are no excess pieces of diecast that might cause a gap.
3. Use a toothpick to apply the super glue.
4. Apply glue to both parts that will make contact. Be very careful not to apply too much, otherwise, the glue can ruin the paint and leave a white haze surrounding the areas where the glue was applied.
5. Hold the two parts together for at least 120 seconds to ensure the glue bonds, and ensure the wing is applied straight.
